Job Title: Arts Integration Program Assistant
Reports To: Dallas Thomas, Director of Arts Integration Programs
Wage: $17.00 per hour/part-time

Position Summary: The Arts Integration Program Assistant will support the team in daily operations and
programming duties. These positions will vary based on the candidate's professional interests and current
organizational needs. This position can provide approximately 15 hours per week.
Responsibilities: •
Admin: Assisting the Stories that Soar! team in daily administrative duties including internal
communications, calendar coordination, document processing, and other duties as assigned.
•Assist with social media posts: Create content and collaborate with STS! Team to create and maintain
social media presence and calendar.
•
Teaching Assistant: Assisting teaching artists in theatre & digital arts after-school or in-school
programming on the Literacy Connects campus and/or at partner schools
Qualifications: The successful candidate will have the following knowledge, skills and abilities: •Dependable with excellent communication and time management skills
•Theatre technology/education/performance experience preferred
•Experience with Google Drive, Google Docs and Google Sheets
•Clear, concise verbal and written communication and comprehension
•Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
•Successful results of criminal background check
Hours: Literacy Connects is open 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday. Stories that Soar! programming dates and
times occasionally vary, although prior notice is always given when irregular hours are requested.
