We are seeking a meticulous and adaptable Accounting Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. The Accounting Analyst position performs general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements. Conducts or assists in the documentation of accounting projects.
This is a Hybrid position, in-office a few days a week located at Humana's Corporate offices in Louisville, KY. Candidates should reside within a commutable distance from Louisville, KY.
The Account Analyst prepares, records, analyzes and reports accounting transactions and ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles. The Accounting Analyst will assist with funding of pharmacy claims, reconciliation of individual member payments and financial recovery of calculations, and support ad-hoc projects as assigned. This position will also be responsible for research and resolution of lockbox deposits with our banking partners, reconciliation of cash deposits, and working closely with vendors to enhance newly developed processes.

**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree
+ Experience with SQL, Access, or similar
+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
+ A proactive team player with a curious mind and eagerness to learn and grow within the field.
+ Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Prior experience in public or corporate accounting
+ Strong technical accounting skills
+ Experience with SQL, Access, or similar

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$57,700 - $79,500 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
