Job Title: Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable Specialist

Location : On-Site
Position Type : Full-Time
Salary Range : $40,000 - $50,000 per year

Position Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This full-time, in-office position involves a variety of tasks within both accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, as well as general administrative duties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing accounts receivable and payable.

Key Responsibilities :

Accounts Receivable :

• Perform collection calls to ensure timely payment of outstanding balances
• Process deposits and ensure accurate posting
• Investigate and resolve short pay inquiries
• Monitor and manage credit holds
• Manage Credit Insurance policy updates and compliance
• Process credit card payments
• Prepare and send monthly customer statements
• Mail invoices to clients in a timely manner

Accounts Payable :

• Enter freight bill data into the system
• Handle freight bill disputes and resolve discrepancies
• Process credit card payments for accounts payable
• Enter invoice data accurately and in a timely manner
• Make payment status calls to vendors and suppliers
• Reconcile monthly vendor statements
• Perform AP check matching and ensure accuracy
• Maintain organized AP invoice filing

General Administrative Tasks :

• Provide phone backup support as needed
• Assist with copying, scanning, and other administrative duties
• Complete miscellaneous administrative tasks as assigned

Requirements :

• Previous experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable required (1-2 years)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Note : This is a full-time, in-office position. Remote work is not available.
