Job Description
Seeking a full-time Accounts Receivable Specialist. The candidate should be able to work independently, while still collaborating frequently with the CFO and Financial Analyst(s).
The A/R Specialist is responsible for overseeing invoices, balances, and all matters related to accounts receivable.
Responsibilities:
Create invoices, send invoices to customers, request payments, and arrange payment plans when necessary.
Collect payment from customers and accurately record it into the system. Deposit payments into company bank account, when necessary.
Process incoming payments according to financial policies and procedures.
Update client accounts based on payment or contact information.
Prepare reports on A/R information and communicate the insights of these reports to sales and management.
Facilitate recurring A/R meetings and record agreed actions and follow through.
Follow the dunning process and drive needed actions (including collections.)
Additional duties and projects related to overall Financial Analysis of the business.

Required Skills & Experience Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Finance or Economics (or an additional 4 years of work experience)
2-3 years of work experience in an Accounts Receivable or Financial Analysis role
Experience using QuickBooks and/or Salesforce, or similar tools
Expertise using MS Office suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables, etc.)
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Experience working for a software or software-as-a-service company preferred.
Based on experience and qualifications, this position will pay between $29-35/hr during the contract period with a conversion salary between $60,000-$75,000
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
