Administrative Assistant
Location: Wall Township, NJ | Full-Time, In-Office | Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Avon Contractors, a leading commercial drywall subcontractor, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our growing team in Wall Township, NJ. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform accounts payable and basic bookkeeping tasks.
  • Support the office staff with general clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and document preparation.
  • Request and manage insurance certificates for new projects.
  • Maintain and update job safety tracking spreadsheets.
  • Provide administrative support across departments as needed.
  • Generate and manage basic social media content for company platforms.
  • Receive and distribute incoming mail and deliveries.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in an administrative role, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Familiarity with accounts payable processes and general bookkeeping.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
