Job Opportunity: Adult Psychiatrist

Location: Burke Mental Health Clinic – Nacogdoches, Lufkin, or Livingston, TX

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Adult Psychiatrist to join our team and provide exceptional psychiatric care to our community. The ideal candidate will perform psychiatric evaluations, manage medication treatment plans, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals. Documentation of patient interactions and treatments is required within our electronic health record system.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication management appointments.
• Provide support and consultation to clinical team members.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record system.

Qualifications

Education:

• Completion of an accredited medical program.

Licenses/Certifications:

• Required: Licensed as a Physician in the State of Texas.
• Required: Valid Texas Driver’s License.
• Preferred: Board Certification in Adult Psychiatry.

Physical Requirements

• Sufficient visual and auditory skills for patient evaluation and treatment.
• Ability to bend, reach, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
• Completion of Satori Alternative to Managing Aggressive Behavior (SAMA) training.

Work Schedule

• Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Participation in emergency services as required.

Compensation

• Salary is commensurate with experience, certification, and licensure.
