We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Application/Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is eager to apply their knowledge of operation, installation, quote, engine, coolant, fluid dynamics, and install in a challenging environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to our sales team, interpreting customer requirements, and ensuring that our products meet and exceed customer expectations. If you have a passion for problem-solving, a keen eye for detail, and a knack for sales, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
2. Generate technical sales proposals and contracts (quotes, bids, etc.).
3. Secure and renew orders and arrange delivery.
4. Plan and modify products to meet customer needs.
5. Help clients solve problems with installed equipment.
6. Recommend improved materials or machinery to customers, documenting how such changes will lower costs or increase production.
7. Assist in researching and developing new products.
8. Use technical skills to demonstrate to potential customers the usefulness of the product.
9. Liaise with other members of the sales team and technical experts.
10. Provide training and produce support material for other members of the sales team.
Qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
3. Proven technical skills in operation, installation, quote, engine, coolant, fluid dynamics, and install.
4. Strong sales and negotiation skills.
5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
6. Ability to interpret technical specifications and work with complex technical products.
7. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with customers and team members.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
10. Ability to travel as required.
