Role Overview: Apprentice Filmmaker (Internship)

We are looking for a passionate and driven Apprentice Filmmaker Intern to join PlotDot.ai, working closely with a award winning filmmaker. This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring filmmaker to gain hands-on experience while contributing to creative projects ranging from teaser trailers to full-length films. As an intern, you will play an integral role in supporting the creative vision, assisting in post-production, and providing feedback throughout the filmmaking process.

Key Responsibilities:

Creative Vision Support:

• Collaborate with an experienced filmmaker to maintain and align the creative vision across various projects.
• Assist in coordinating pre-production, on-set filming, and post-production activities.
• Offer creative input during brainstorming sessions, script reviews, and storyboarding.

Post-Production Assistance:

• Provide hands-on support during editing, sound design, and visual effects processes.
• Organize and manage digital assets, footage, and other production materials.
• Ensure final deliverables are high-quality, aligned with the creative vision, and delivered on time.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Film, Media Production, or a related field (or recently graduated).
• Passionate about filmmaking and storytelling, with a strong desire to learn and grow in the film industry.
• Basic understanding of film production processes, editing software, and visual storytelling techniques.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to take direction and contribute creatively.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable to fast-paced production environments.
• Enthusiastic about exploring how AI can enhance the creative process in filmmaking.
