Job Description

We are seeking a talented and forward-thinking Architectural Designer with 4-8 years of professional experience to join our New York City studio. This is an opportunity to be part of a globally recognized design practice known for shaping innovative and impactful institutional, higher education, and cultural projects across the world.

Our work is rooted in a research-driven , contextually responsive approach that embraces new ideas, rigorous precedent analysis, and advanced design methodologies. We are particularly interested in designers who bring curiosity, critical thinking, and a deep appreciation for generative and iterative processes .

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the design and development of projects from concept through construction documentation
• Conduct precedent studies, urban and environmental research, and contextual analysis to inform design direction
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop compelling design narratives and presentations
• Translate conceptual design ideas into thoughtful, buildable solutions using Revit/BIM workflows
• Participate in design reviews, client meetings, and coordination with consultants
• Explore emerging tools and techniques in generative design, parametrics, or digital workflows to push design innovation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience, with a portfolio of work on institutional, higher-ed, civic, or cultural projects
• Strong proficiency in Revit and BIM-based project delivery
• Demonstrated experience in early-phase design, ideation, and planning
• Passion for research, precedent studies, and context-informed design strategies
• Familiarity with generative design tools (such as Rhino/Grasshopper, Dynamo, or similar) is highly desirable
• Excellent design, visualization, and drawing skills
