Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa in Destin is seeking a full-time assistant spa manager for our established spa. The ideal assistant spa manager candidate is goal oriented, and growth minded with a proven background in sales and customer service. Assistant Spa Manager Performance will be based on the following metrics: Membership Conversion / Spa Growth: The key to our success is repeat business. The spa manager must be able to lead by example and train our associates on securing repeat business through membership acquisition, gift card sales and great customer service. Team Building: Destin is a very seasonal location and as such the assistant manager must hire, train and coach the team of spa associates who handle the administration and sales of the spa. Coaching to Commission: Enrich the careers of your team by guiding them to success and collecting their available commissions related to spa growth and achievement. The spa has multiple revenue streams that deserve attention such as: Memberships, Gift Cards, Upgrades and Retail sales. What you need to succeed in this role: 2 to 3 years sales experience. If you have proven you can sell, we will train you on how to manage people. All we need is for you to be able to lead by example. Flexible schedule – this role requires a variety of hours including some nights and weekends, however we make schedules a month in advance and encourage our assistant managers to design a schedule that provides them work/life balance while also resulting in strong performance of the spa. Passion for promoting the benefits of massage and skin care services and a passion for achievement. Strong, and clear communication skills – bilingual in English & Spanish is a plus!
