Our prestigious law firm is seeking a dynamic, passionate, and experienced Permanent Associate Attorney to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to delve into the heart of the legal industry, working on high-profile cases and providing top-notch legal services to our clients. If you have a keen interest in premises liability and civil litigation, along with the ability to handle challenges with enthusiasm, we would like to meet you. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in the legal field, with a proven track record in handling complex cases, excellent negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of legal principles and procedures.
Pay is DOE: 100-130k for 3-5 years of experience and 150k+ for attorney 6+ years of out school with book of business or exceptional experience
Responsibilities:

1. General Case Management
2. Draft responsive pleading and motions
3. Respond to Discovery
4. Attend Court Proceedings
5. Conduct Depositions
6. Conduct Research and secure expert witnesses
7. Examine legal data to determine the advisability of defending or prosecuting a lawsuit.
8. Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
9. Advise clients concerning business transactions, claim liability, advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, or legal rights and obligations.
10. Gather evidence to formulate defense or to initiate legal actions, by such means as interviewing clients and witnesses to ascertain the facts of a case.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the State Bar.
3. Minimum of 2+ years of experience as an attorney, specifically with premises liability and civil litigation.
4. Experince with Medical Malpractice, Transportation, Long Term Car/Nursing Home Defense or Premises Liablity is a plus
5. Exceptional ability to develop and implement legal strategies.
6. Excellent negotiation, research, and communication skills.
7. Strong analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
9. High level of professional ethics and integrity.
10. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
