Position: PCR Manager - Assurance Team

RSM is seeking a dynamic PCR Manager to join our Assurance team. You will work as part of a team on diverse client engagements, including local, national, and internationally recognized companies. Our assurance professionals help companies improve performance through challenging business cycles.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide timely, high-quality client service, including coordinating review engagements, compilations of financial statements, disclosures, and other deliverables such as taxes.
  2. Understand and apply RSM's review and compilation methodology.
  3. Manage multiple engagement teams and evaluate staff performance.
  4. Lead the team through the process, ensuring quality, thoroughness, and accuracy of financial statements and disclosures.
  5. Collaborate on engagement approach and execute using a risk-based approach.
  6. Identify and assess technical accounting and taxation matters early, coordinating with specialists as needed.
  7. Recognize industry-specific and general accounting issues and determine review approaches.
  8. Provide insightful feedback on financial statements.
  9. Monitor and review work of Senior Associates and Supervisors, providing coaching.
  10. Supervise engagement teams, monitor productivity, and adhere to budgets.
  11. Address client concerns proactively and escalate issues as needed.
  12. Maintain ongoing contact with clients to understand significant developments.
  13. Communicate significant accounting and tax matters to senior management.
  14. Develop team members through training and career advising.
  15. Identify opportunities for performance improvement.
  16. Understand and promote RSM's services and cross-selling opportunities.
  17. Manage project profitability and ensure ongoing professional development.
  18. Stay updated on GAAP and firm standards.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) or equivalent degree.
  2. CPA designation.
  3. At least 5 years of recent experience in public accounting.
  4. Experience leading teams and mentoring staff.
  5. Knowledge of review and compilation standards.
  6. Proven ability to build profitable client relationships.
  7. Minimum 4 years of team lead or in-charge experience overseeing multiple engagements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience managing review and compilation engagements, including taxation.
  2. Successful track record in managing multiple engagements and teams.
  3. Experience working with large non-US companies in North America.

Compensation varies based on experience, skills, and location, with a range of $86,500 - $163,900. Selected candidates are eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance.
