We have recently partnered with a CPA firm in Towson, MD to provide them with a Audit Associate. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.
Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Audit Associate: #1. Experience with real estate, construction, manufacturing, and distribution
#2. Experience with audits, reviews, compilations of financial statements and EBP audits
#3. At least 1+ years for Associate, or 3+ years for Senior, of experience in public accounting
Requirements of the Audit Associate: - 1-6 years of relevant experience in an accounting firm
- CPA certification is an advantage
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related discipline
- Familiarity with financial statement assessments, including audits, reviews, and compilations, as well as Employee Benefit Plan evaluations
- Knowledge of the real estate, construction, manufacturing, distribution, and nonprofit sectors
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
- Highly motivated with a strong commitment to task completion
- Effective communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Experience with Advance Flow is a bonus
Other Key Requirements: - Candidates must be local and follow our hybrid schedule out of our Towson or Columbia office
- No sponsorships or visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp.
