Direct Counsel is representing an Amlaw 200 firm in its search for a Bankruptcy Associate to join its Denver office.

Position Overview:The firm is seeking a Bankruptcy Associate with 2–5 years of experience at a law firm or through a clerkship, and a demonstrated interest in commercial bankruptcy and insolvency law . The ideal candidate will have experience handling Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 cases , litigation and motion practice , and exposure to out-of-court workouts, receiverships, and UCC Article 9 foreclosures .
Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Admission to the Colorado Bar preferred
2–5 years of relevant experience in commercial bankruptcy and insolvency
Strong academic credentials
Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills
Effective interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving
Ability to manage multiple assignments and work in a team environment
Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 case management
Bankruptcy litigation and motion practice
Out-of-court restructurings, receiverships, and foreclosures under UCC Article 9

Salary range: $207,000 – $230,000 (commensurate with experience)
