Job Description

GCC is hiring CDL A or B Ready Mix Drivers in Bellingham, MN. GCCs production is mainly devoted to the manufacture and sale of gray Portland cement, mortar, premixed concrete, concrete blocks, plaster, aggregates and other construction materials. Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $24.29-$28.39
  • 10 hrs. per day, 4-6 days per week
• Bonuses
  • Sign on bonus: $1,500
  • Ready- Mix Driver referral bonus: $1,000
• Paid via direct deposit bi-weekly

Home Time, Route & Schedule

• Home Daily
• Route: No more than 100 miles home plant
• Schedule: 10 hours/day, 4 - 6 days/week
• Shift: Start times vary, Ready-mix driver is responsible to call callout each day for start time

Equipment

• Rear discharge mixers
• Late Model Equipment
• Mostly automatic, manuals available

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL A or B License
• Must be at least 21 years old
• No experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• No DUI/DWI in the last 3 years
• Ability to pass Federal Department of Transportation drug screen and physical.
• Maintain driving record in accordance with Federal and State Motor Carrier regulations and meet company policy requirements.
• Ability to handle cash and make change.
• Ability to deal with customers and other employees in a diplomatic manner, in a variety of stressful situations.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Must be able to read, write and speak in English.
• Maintain Department of Transportation Health cond.
• Ability to Lift 50lbs. frequently
• Ability to work in extremes temperatures (C or H)
• Must live within 50 miles of Bellingham, MN
