Responsibilities

• Collaborate with registered nurses to deliver care in a safe, healing environment.
• Communicate effectively and carry out delegated tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Document patient data and report observations to the registered nurse.
• Ensure safety precautions are observed, including call light accessibility and bed alarms.
• Obtain and record patients' vital signs.
• Monitor patients and report any concerns promptly.
• Respond promptly to all call lights and assist patients with mobility and daily activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for patients and staff.
• Participate in Purposeful Hourly Rounding and Bedside Shift Report as directed.
• Perform direct and indirect patient care duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• Current CNA Certification in the State of Idaho
• Current BLS certification

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of medical terminology
• 1 year of experience in acute or long-term care
