Job Description: Under the supervision of nursing staff, the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) assists in providing clinical patient care, prepares and maintains patient records, and ensures a clean and safe environment. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient care and effective communication skills. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist nursing staff in providing direct patient care, including activities of daily living and vital sign monitoring.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure patient rooms and common areas are clean and sanitized.
• Assist with patient mobility and transfers, including occasional heavy lifting.
• Follow verbal and written instructions from nursing and medical staff.
• Support patients' comfort and well-being by responding to their needs promptly and respectfully.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Texas
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Qualifications:

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to caregiving.
• Previous experience in a medical setting preferred, but not required.
• Physical ability to perform occasional heavy lifting and assist patients as needed.
