About the Role
The Company is in need of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to take the helm of its financial operations and ensure the organization's long-term sustainability. The CFO will be a key member of the senior management team, providing strategic financial guidance and working closely with leadership to maintain financial health. This role is pivotal in aligning financial strategies with the company's mission and goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial leadership, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, and must have a strong background in municipal finance, compliance, and budgeting. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a Master’s degree or CPA preferred. A minimum of 7 years' experience in a senior financial role, particularly in municipal finance, is required. The CFO will also be tasked with ensuring compliance with financial regulations, managing stakeholder relationships, and leading a finance team. Strong knowledge of municipal fiscal management, excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as proficiency in financial software and analytical abilities, are essential for this role. The ideal candidate will be adept at strategic planning, offering financial analysis, and identifying areas for operational improvements and cost optimization.
