The Department of Cinematic Arts is seeking part-time student assistants to be part of a skilled and highly motivated team. This position will provide administrative and programmatic support to the department as a whole.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Provide clerical and office support, including filing, copying, data entry, and answering phone calls
- Write copy for newsletters and other material
- Assist in monitoring facilities at Lowry Studios to ensure they are in proper order and noting any damage
- Ensure classrooms are stocked with classroom supplies
- Help with setting up and wrapping events held by Cinematic Arts
- Provide assistance to Cinematic Arts staff with various tasks and projects as requested
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS - Must have completed FAFSA on file
- Must be enrolled in a minimum six (6) credit hours
- Must NOT have yet obtained 1st Bachelor's Degree
- Must be seeking an eligible program of study
QUALIFICATIONS - Enrolled in Cinematic Arts classes
- Basic computer and internet skills
- Able to complete tasks in a timely manner
- Able to lift heavy items (up to 30lbs)
