DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this entry-level clerical role, you will help with the daily office functions of Children and Youth Service. This includes filing, typing, and processing data entry into a database. You will also answer incoming phone calls and assist with other standardized office duties that follow well established methods and procedures. Our team will rely on your ability to proofread information and documents for accuracy, utilize standard office equipment, and keep work organized. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
• Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Possession of the required knowledges, skills, and abilities.

• Hiring preference for this vacancy may be given to candidates who live within Cambria County. If no eligible candidates who live within Cambria County apply for this position, candidates who reside in other counties may be considered.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:

• A conditional offer of employment will require a drug screening and medical examination.
• This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
  • Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
