What You Can Expect Working in the Commercial Real Estate Intern Position

The Commercial Real Estate internship offers hands-on experience in the commercial real estate industry, providing opportunities to learn about property management, investment analysis, and development. The Commercial Real Estate Intern will perform support functions of this position, learn real estate contracts, leases, eviction plans, and other legal documentation. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, gaining valuable skills and knowledge while contributing to real-world projects. This internship opportunity will last approximately 12 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research, property site visits, and data analysis; prepare reports and presentations.
• Maintain property records, handle data entry, file management, and distribute correspondence.
• Assist with loan applications, leasing agreements, property management, and document project meetings.
• Support client communications, research potential clients/partners, and attend industry events.
• Shadow professionals, participate in training, and seek growth opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, sales, business administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior real estate experience
