Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 annually (Senior level: up to $120,000)

We are supporting a leading gaming company in their search for a talented and experienced
Community Manager . This role is pivotal in managing and enhancing the online presence of their gaming communities, fostering engagement, and creating strong connections between players and the brand.
About the Role: As the Community Manager, you will oversee the company's social media communities, plan and execute events, manage prize distribution, and collaborate with content creators and influencers. You will also play a vital role in gathering and analyzing player feedback to contribute to the ongoing success of their games.
This role involves supervising the existing community team while aligning efforts with the company's Japan-based Global Business team.
Key Responsibilities: - Community Management:
- Strategically manage online game communities across social media platforms.
- Develop and implement community engagement strategies around game releases.
- Event Coordination:
- Plan and execute in-game and online events, including prize distribution.
- Creator and Influencer Collaboration:
- Establish and maintain relationships with content creators and influencers.
- Gather feedback on games from the community to inform development and marketing efforts.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Japan-based Global Business team to ensure alignment and consistency in community strategies.
Required Qualifications: - Industry Experience: Proven experience working in the gaming industry.
- Leadership Skills: Previous experience managing or supervising a team.
- Community Management Expertise: In-depth knowledge of social media and community management best practices.
- Global Communication: Strong ability to work effectively with international teams.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Community Social Marketing roles within Gaming industry.
- Familiarity with influencer marketing and event planning.
- Multilingual skills are a plus, with an emphasis on Japanese and English.
