*Job Summary*
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work, including finishing techniques and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role involves working on various construction sites, ensuring high-quality concrete finishes for both residential and commercial projects.
*Duties*
* Prepare surfaces for concrete pouring by cleaning and leveling the area.
* Mix concrete using a concrete mixer and ensure the correct consistency.
* Pour, spread, and finish concrete using hand tools and power tools to achieve desired texture and finish.
* Install rebar and other reinforcement materials as required for structural integrity.
* Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to execute project specifications accurately.
* Perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment as needed on construction sites.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining safety standards.
* Conduct restoration work, including plastering, stucco application, and masonry tasks as needed.
* Assist in renovation projects involving flooring installation, tile laying, trim carpentry, and metal stud framing.
*Skills*
* Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction equipment and processes.
* Proficiency in construction estimating to assess project needs accurately.
* Experience with hardscape installation and concrete forming techniques.
* Familiarity with various hand tools and power tools used in concrete finishing.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday.
* Knowledge of welding practices is a plus for certain projects.
* Experience with commercial driving may be beneficial for transporting materials or equipment.
* Understanding of caulking techniques for sealing joints in concrete structures.
* Background in frame carpentry, roofing, or restoration work is advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
