Our leading engineering firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Paralegal with a background in Manufacturing. This position offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of professionals in a fast-paced environment where you will be instrumental in providing legal and administrative support to our corporate legal team. If you have a keen eye for detail, exceptional negotiation skills, and a strong understanding of intellectual property and contract law, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Corporate Paralegal, your main responsibilities will include:

1. Assisting with the drafting, reviewing, and negotiation of contracts and agreements, ensuring they comply with company policies and legal requirements.
2. Providing support in the management and protection of the company's intellectual property portfolio.
3. Conducting research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles to assist with the preparation of legal documents and advise on legal rights and obligations.
4. Assisting in the implementation and management of corporate governance practices and procedures.
5. Coordinating with internal departments and external legal counsel to manage risks and resolve legal issues.
6. Maintaining accurate records of all legal documents and ensuring proper filing of corporate documents with government agencies.
7. Assisting in the preparation for board meetings, corporate filings, and other corporate activities.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Corporate Paralegal position should possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field.
2. Paralegal certification is highly preferred.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paralegal in a corporate environment, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
4. Proficient knowledge of corporate law, intellectual property law, and contract law.
5. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve legal disputes effectively.
6. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
7. Excellent research skills with the ability to interpret and apply legal provisions.
8. Proficient in using legal research software and other computer applications.
9. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
