We’re looking for a reliable Production Support Associate to join our team at Poppy Popcorn! This role is primarily focused on cleaning equipment, surfaces, and work areas according to food safety standards, with occasional support for kitchen production tasks. Maintaining a clean, organized kitchen is essential for safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and thrives in a hands-on environment..

Estimated Hours: 40+ hours/week

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 11 AM – 7:30 PM

Classification & Pay: Hourly- $20/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, tools, and surfaces throughout the shift
• Perform thorough end-of-shift cleaning of all kitchen equipment, tools, surfaces, and floors in accordance with sanitation protocols
• Use and store cleaning chemicals properly and safely
• Reset workstations and equipment for the next day’s production
• Dispose of trash and food waste in accordance with sanitation standards
• Report safety hazards, equipment issues, or supply needs to the manager
• Assist with light kitchen production tasks when needed
• Safely perform repetitive lifting, bending, and other physical tasks
• Apply feedback to improve performance
• Follow all safety, food safety, and attendance policies
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Previous experience in sanitation, janitorial, or food production is preferred but not required
• Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety
• Able to properly handle cleaning tools and chemicals
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and completing repetitive tasks
• Willing to learn and support kitchen production as needed
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team setting
