Perm - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

The medical center is a full-service facility with 249 licensed beds, serving counties in eastern Iowa and western Illinois. We are seeking a dedicated Board Certified CRNA to enhance our anesthesia services and provide exceptional care to our patients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide professional anesthesiology services for adult and pediatric patients.
• Directly manage and supervise anesthesiology services to meet hospital requirements.
• Administer various types of anesthesia including general, pediatric, thoracic, and obstetrical anesthesia.
• Conduct pre-evaluation anesthesia services and post-surgical monitoring for complications.
• Respond promptly to emergency codes as required.
• Collaborate with OR Leadership Team, Anesthesia Providers, and clinical staff.
• Maintain a professional presence characterized by integrity and the ability to inspire and motivate others.
• Utilize Cerner for Electronic Medical Records.
• Engage in continuous compliance with medical standards and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified CRNA (NBCRNA) - REQUIRED
• IA license or willingness to obtain - REQUIRED
• Experience with procedures in both adult and pediatric patients - REQUIRED
• 5+ years of CRNA work experience - PREFERRED
• BLS certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire - REQUIRED
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications or willingness to obtain within 1 year - REQUIRED
• Clean malpractice history - PREFERRED

License and Certification Requirements:

• Valid IA state license or IMLC eligibility - REQUIRED
• Current BLS certification - REQUIRED
• Current ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications - REQUIRED
• Board Certification by NBCRNA - REQUIRED
