## _**About The Role**_ Join Disney’s Quality of Experience, Devices & Identity Analytics team as a Data Analyst. You will be a key player in improving and measuring the performance of Disney’s streaming services, including Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+. This role involves working with product, engineering, and business strategy partners through comprehensive data analysis and insight generation. You will collaborate closely with data engineering and product management to tackle data challenges and improve insights into the quality aspects of our products. ## **_What Youll Do_******

• Convert ambiguous stakeholder queries from Product, Engineering, Business Strategy, Marketing, etc., into structured data requirements and analyses.
• Provide actionable, data-driven recommendations to stakeholders through detailed analysis.
• Utilize SQL and scripting languages to analyze both structured and unstructured data.
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure the accuracy and quality of data required for analysis.
• Present insights effectively using data visualization tools or oral presentations.
• Design and execute AB testing to evaluate quality performance and enhancements.

## **_Key Qualifications_******

• Exceptional curiosity, analytical skills, and a drive for insights that impact business outcomes.
• 3+ years of experience in data management, data engineering, business intelligence or analysis-based environments
• Basic experience with SQL and Python or other scripting languages and experience working with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse platforms
• Proficiency with tools such as Matplotlib, Tableau, Looker, MicroStrategy, Ploty or Databricks.
• Strong ability to build relationships with teammates, business partners, and technical colleagues.
• Highly motivated and capable of working independently.

• Background in streaming media or subscription-based products.
• Experience with analytics for application-based products.
• Familiarity with device platforms and streaming technology.
• Experience with AB testing methodologies for digital products.
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, or related field

#DISNEYTECH

The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $98,000 to $131,300 per year and in Santa Monica, CA is $93,400 to $125,200 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus andor long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, andor other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
