Position Overview

Betabrand is seeking a motivated Software Engineering Intern to join our development team. This internship provides hands-on experience building and maintaining e-commerce applications, internal tools, and web solutions that power our brand. You will work closely with experienced engineers and contribute to real projects while gaining valuable industry experience.

This is a paid internship at $23/hour, offering practical experience, mentorship, and exposure to real-world software development in an innovative e-commerce environment.

• Assist in designing, coding, testing, and deploying web and mobile applications.
• Participate in team code reviews and collaborate with engineers on ongoing projects.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications.
• Contribute to feature development, performance optimization, and user experience improvements.
• Document code and workflows to support team knowledge sharing.
• Learn and apply best practices for software development, testing, and version control.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and programming languages (Python, Java, Ruby, or similar).
• Familiarity with frameworks, version control (Git), and databases is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote or on-site setting.
