DATA CENTER CABLE TECHNICIAN OVERVIEW We are currently seeking a
Technician that will be a critical member of a U.S.-based global systems integrator providing technology solutions and services for commercial and government clients. This is a contract role with the potential to become a permanent position with our key client with multiple Data Center locations across the
Columbus, OH area .
RESPONSIBILITIES - Will execute Cable Pulling methods on Datacenter installation projects
- Execute tasks by following specifications provided by team leadership
- Learn and Execute in fast paced environment
- Perform duties utilizing industry best practice and emphasize safety standards and guidelines
- Maintain an outstanding record of attendance and on-time reporting for work
- Think strategically and demonstrate leadership skills
- Provide great customer service and deliver projects according to the customer's expectations
- Travel to the different locations in the Columbus area
QUALIFICATIONS - 0-3 years of relevant industry experience
- The ability to understand project specifications and execute assigned tasks
- Basic knowledge of power and hand tools
- Successful track record of problem solving and troubleshooting
- Demonstrated ability to be on time and punctual on consistent basis
- Must have dependable transportation to reach multiple data center locations.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must complete video safety and job training required before the start date.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds, climb ladders, stand on feet for extended periods
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required: Electric Nippers, Gloves, Hard Hat (assistance provided if needed).
- Required Attire: Khaki Pants/Clean Jeans, Polo or Button Down casual shirt

EDUCATION - High School Diploma or GED required,
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- BICSI and industry certifications - preferred
