? Data Validation Analyst

Location: Remote; Eastern Time Zone (EST) preferred

Work Hours: Eastern Time Zone work hours required; daily team stand-up at 4 PM EST

About the Role

Unison is seeking a Data Validation Analyst to help maintain data integrity across multiple ERP systems, ensuring accurate and reliable reporting for critical business decisions. This role involves validating data from approximately 20 ERP systems (including Oracle) and working closely with business users and internal teams to reconcile discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate data for various business functions, starting with Sales Orders, AR invoices, and Sales Backlog, then moving to Inventory, Equipment Sales Orders, Quotes, AP, and more.
• Compare reports from the enterprise data warehouse (Power BI/SharePoint front end) with site-level business reports.
• Investigate discrepancies caused by filtering differences, timing issues, or data anomalies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve extraction or transformation issues.
• Document findings and prepare final validation reports for UAT and business sign-off.

Required Skills

• Ability to interpret data, create reports, and communicate findings effectively.

About the Team

Youll join a Data & Analytics team responsible for managing the enterprise data warehouse, corporate reporting, and data integrations. The team is currently migrating from Microsoft Azure to Microsoft Fabric, enhancing automation, self-service capabilities, and medallion architecture. The tech stack includes Power BI, SharePoint, and modern data engineering tools.
