Description Day Porter/Office Cleaner needed in
Novi, Michigan Corporate Cleaning Group is a leader of the cleaning industry, and is known for our great people and great service & we are looking for more great people to join our team!!
Location: Novi, MI- Haggerty & 9 Mile
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10am - 2pm
Pay: $15/hr - Paid bi-weekly via direct deposit
Job Title: Part-Time Cleaner
Position Purpose: The primary responsibilities involve the upkeep of the facility to enhance and maintain the look of them. The porter will have multiple responsibilities to help the facility function throughout the day.
Responsibilities: - Spot clean designated areas based off the customer's needs
- Restock paper products and soap dispensers
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors
- Restock soap dispensers and paper products as needed
- Dusting light fixtures & handrails
- Cleaning glass/windows
- Keeping parking lot, front entrance, and sidewalks free of debris
- Maintain the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the office space
- Perform minor maintenance, including changing light bulbs
- Notify management of any cleaning issues, repairs or maintenance required
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and cleanliness
Requirements: - Willing to undergo Background check
- Must be 18 yrs or older
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs
- Ability to walk, bend, stoop and stand for long periods of time
- Superior attendance is required
- Dependable, Positive and Team Orientated
Qualifications: - Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial work is a plus, but not required
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Excellent work ethic and great customer service
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Good communication skills
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and moving objects
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instruction
- Professional and courteous when interacting with customers, tenants, and office staff
Job Type: Part-time
