Director of Multi Unit Restaurant Operations

Seeking an experienced Director of Operations to oversee four locally owned well-established restaurants. You will be responsible for ensuring that the highest standards of service, quality, and profitability are maintained across all locations.

Position Summary

Essential Job Responsibilities:

· Monitor and evaluate restaurant performance, work with managers to understand their specific challenges and to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

· Monitor the status of staffing at each location; to continuously ensure proper training, scheduling, conduct and performance. Oversees payroll processing bi-monthly.

· Ensure cost controls are in place, monitored and are maintained.

· Overseeing the accurate and timely completion of weekly inventories as well as ensuring the proper end-of-month reports are sent promptly to our accountants.

· Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to drive professional development.

· Champion a guest-first approach, ensuring exceptional service and memorable dining experiences.

· Address and resolve guest complaints and feedback promptly and effectively.

· Ensure all restaurant locations comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards.

· Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.

· Reads and understands financial and operational data and reports to monitor progress towards those goals and objectives.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

· Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 2 years in a management role with a proven track record.

· Multi-unit management experience is preferred but not required!

· Strong background in financial management, including inventory, payroll, food and beverage cost controls.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with staff, vendors, and guests.

· High level of integrity and professionalism.

· Passionate about the hospitality industry and committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Each restaurant will be reporting directly to the person who is hired for this position. Most systems are in place, but we're still looking to add a degree of structure and accountability throughout the organization to continue to improve and grow our businesses. Being an independent restaurant group, it does not have the feeling of working for a corporation. It is a family atmosphere.
