About the Role:
The Miller Family Holding-European Wax Center Director of Wax Talent is an exciting, personality plus position for a licensed professional who can effectively coach on technique and KPI goals as well as drive our "More Fun Here" culture initiatives within all our MFH centers.
Our Director of Wax Talent is responsible for the oversight and delivery of recruitment, onboarding, training and retention of all MFH European Wax Center Wax Specialists within their region. The Director of Wax Talent is also a critical ally of the District and Center Manager within the areas of suite management, wax specialist scheduling, inventory control and center reputation development.
What We Do for You
Tasks and Responsibilities of this Role also Include:
Research and development of recruitment policy and procedure to maximize influx of interested candidates who align with MFH and EWC culture, brand, background and quality standards.
Assess hiring needs based on maximizing current revenue opportunity, trending growth analysis and center payroll budget.
Conduct 1st in-person interviews with qualified candidates. Maintain and organize onboarding records regarding candidate status and communications.
Conduct HUB training with assistance from certified peer trainers. This includes brand awareness curriculum, product line overview and hands on technique training.
Development of continuing education content for MFH EWC Wax Specialists.
Maintain a schedule of weekly visits to assigned regional MFH centers. Make personal connections with MFH EWC associates and respond to concerns and training requests. Assist the Center Manager in creating a center culture where the specialist team feels empowered, valued, engaged and listened to.
Create effective communication methods and craft motivational and educational messaging to wax specialists, all levels of management and MFH corporate.
Consistently address KPI metrics and specialist opportunities for bonus and tier advancement. Share new tools, tips and techniques to increase wax specialist productivity and engagement.
Assist with new MFH EWC center launches and provide required launch training. Be available to work "Shadow Shifts" in order to evaluate staff in real time and assist with center coverage needs.
Occasionally speak as a subject matter expert on MFH and EWC Corporate calls and events.
Notable:
Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Knowledge of Canva is a plus
