Job Description

A full-time audiologist position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in a K-12 school setting located in Fowler, CO. This contract opportunity offers a schedule designed to support hearing screening and early identification programs within the school district.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations and hearing screenings for 20-30 students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Utilize the sound booth for hearing screenings, primarily scheduled on Fridays
• Manage Child Find activities two Fridays per month, totaling approximately 10 days annually, to identify students with potential hearing challenges
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized plans to support students auditory needs
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of student evaluations, screenings, and communications
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with audiology best practices in educational settings

Qualifications:

• Valid state license and certification as an audiologist
• Experience working with pediatric populations in educational or clinical environments preferred
• Strong knowledge of hearing screening protocols and equipment operation
• Ability to manage caseload and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families

Location:

• Fowler, Colorado

Schedule and Hours:

• Monday through Thursday: 7:15 AM to 3:45 PM
• Fridays reserved for hearing screenings and Child Find activities, with total weekly hours ranging from 36 to 40 depending on scheduled duties
