Regional Production Underwriting Manager - Environmental About Our Client: Our Client is a leader in providing comprehensive insurance solutions, focusing on Environmental Underwriting. They are committed to redefining their role in the industry, moving towards environmental sustainability and responsible risk management.
The Role: - Team Leadership: Manage a team comprising one Underwriting Manager (UW) and two Underwriting Assistants. Develop and coach the team, particularly focusing on the growth and development of the relatively new Texas team members.
- Technical Expertise: Understanding and assessing coverage needs, particularly in Pollution Liability and Casualty lines. While experience in Pollution Liability is preferred, a strong background in Casualty is essential.
- Strategic Vision: Lead the team in embracing the company's renewed focus on environmental risk. Our client aims to move away from traditional casualty lines and expand into manufacturing-based site pollution coverage, emphasizing sustainability and innovation.
- Collaboration: Foster collaboration between the underwriting team, loss control, and monoline site pollution team to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Operational Autonomy: Enjoy significant authority in decision-making, with minimal escalations to senior leadership. This role offers the opportunity to influence outcomes directly in the field.

The Book: - Coverage Expertise: Handle a diverse portfolio including Workers' Compensation (WC), General Liability (GL), Auto, Pollution Liability, and Excess coverage. The ability to manage multiple lines of coverage is a key advantage.
- Market Focus: Target clients requiring Pollution Liability coverage, while also offering integrated solutions across WC, GL, Auto, and sometimes Professional Lines, simplifying their insurance needs.
