You will serve as the catalyst, coach, and strategist for our Guides – the frontline learning facilitators who inspire rather than simply instruct. Your leadership will determine how Alpha Guides engage with students, encompassing everything from playbook development and feedback systems to demonstrating exemplary facilitation techniques.

What You Will Be Doing
• Developing and training a team of Guides to execute the Alpha learning system with exceptional quality
• Designing Guide Playbooks that document facilitation best practices, create engaging learning activities, and address common challenges
• Delivering consistent, practical feedback to Guides that enhances student engagement and outcomes
• Personally coaching a small student cohort, demonstrating advanced coaching and motivational techniques

What You Won’t Be Doing
• Developing lesson plans – your Guides support student learning through adaptive applications; you concentrate on preparing them to be outstanding facilitators
• Compromising standards – when our passing threshold is 100%, maintaining that expectation is your responsibility
• Conducting tedious training sessions – you will coach Guides through dynamic, energetic, hands-on professional development

ESports Coach Key Responsibilities
Develop and train a team of Guides to execute the Alpha system with exceptional quality.
Basic Requirements
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or a comparable field.
• Proven track record of designing and executing innovative educational programs, curricula, or training initiatives.
• Exceptional leadership and mentorship capabilities with demonstrated ability to build, manage, and inspire high-performing teams.
• Background working with youth (ages 5-18) in educational or developmental settings.
• Competence in data analysis and leveraging metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
• Availability to work on-site in Atlanta, GA; Las Vegas, NV; Nashville, TN; Park City (Salt Lake City), UT; or Spotswood, NJ.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
