We are seeking a skilled and experienced accountant to join our team. This role involves conducting financial audits, preparing tax returns, and providing outsourced accounting services tailored to our nonprofit clients.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough audits of nonprofit organizations, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for nonprofit clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Provide outsourced accounting services, including but not limited to financial reporting, budgeting, and payroll management.Collaborate with nonprofit leaders to provide strategic financial insights and guidance.Stay up-to-date with nonprofit accounting practices, tax law changes, and financial regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA designation is not required, but preferred.At least 2 years of accounting experience, with a strong preference for experience in the public accounting.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
