Dicks Concrete Company has been a cornerstone of the New Hampton community since 1978. We pride ourselves on our commitment to quality, reliability, and our team. We're looking for a skilled mechanic to keep our fleet of heavy-duty vehicles running smoothly and efficiently.

Your Role:

As a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for:

  • Diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on a variety of heavy-duty vehicles , including concrete trucks, dump trucks, front loaders, and excavators.
  • Performing routine maintenance and preventative services to ensure optimal vehicle performance and minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving equipment malfunctions in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
  • Working independently and as part of a team to achieve departmental goals.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic , with a strong understanding of diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Own set of tools (specialty tools provided as needed).
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • CDL (Commercial Driver's License) is a plus, but not required.
