Job Title: Electrical Foreman/Service Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Foreman/Service Technician to oversee and perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repair work on commercial projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of electricians, apprentices, and other personnel on job sites.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate electrical work, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, components, and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA, and local electrical codes.
  • Conduct quality control checks and inspections to ensure work meets specifications.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to apprentices and junior electricians.
  • Identify and resolve electrical issues efficiently and safely.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and PPE.

Work Conditions & Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in various environments, including outdoor and indoor job sites.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Availability for overtime, emergency calls, and weekend work as needed.

Requirements:

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Valid Electrical Journeyman or Master Electrician license (as required by state or local jurisdiction).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical work, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial, industrial electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and wiring schematics.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions on-site.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
