SHIPPING FORKLIFT OPERATOR

Duties:

• Operate single and double fork forklifts to load finished goods onto trucks.
• Assist with monitoring staging areas for shipments, ensure there are numbered trailer seals and ensure pre-loading trailer inspections are performed on all loads.
• Scan pallets, read orders and communicate with truck drivers.
• Assist with monitoring and reporting daily pallet inventories.
• Report daily forklift safety inspections and report any maintenance issues.
• Housekeeping inside and outside of dock areas by sweeping, mopping, or removing trash.
• May assist with daily shipping paperwork (Bill of Lading) and reporting.

• Monday - Friday 9:00 A.M. - 5:30 P.M.

  Sunday - Thursday 6:00 P.M. - 2:30 A.M.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of Forklift operating experience
• Experience with loading and unloading trucks
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Safe forklift record
• Extremely high attention to detail
• Ability to count and track product
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
