Results Statement:

I am accountable for producing the following results: Developing and managing a pipeline of current and prospective grant funders that align with Clarity's priorities. Through planned research, identification, development, cultivation, stewardship, compliance, and reporting activities, this individual will submit proposals and manage awards in support of our mission and operating goals. Job

Functions 1. Establish a working knowledge of all Clarity programs and presentations 2. Manage and oversee all grant expectations including meeting all guidelines, fiscal controls, grant compliance, and grant reporting. 3. Oversee the completion, approval, and submission of all necessary reports and time including financial reports and semi-annual and annual reports 4. Maintain the grant solutions and PMS site documentation 5. Monitor and track grant spending monthly. Communicate with Accounting and the appropriate department director to balance grant spending documentation monthly. 6. Ensure the entry and exit performance measures are submitted on time in July and January of each grant funding year. 7. Oversee that all critical information/ data regarding grant awards is backed up to the Clarity server regularly 8. Obtain and provide any data necessary for monthly and annual reporting 9. Seek potential future funding opportunities and write grants as they apply to Clarity 10. Attend grant required webinars 11. Submit monthly expenses to the Department heads 12. Compile any data necessary for the Annual Clarity report 13. Performa other tasks to support the overall objective of Clarity

Requirements: ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance or education field or equivalent experience; One (1) year of grant writing experience for a non-profit organization. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to convey information effectively. Provide others with a clear understanding of information. Maintain the confidentiality of client, staff, volunteer, and agency information. Exceptions include information pertaining to child abuse, danger to self or others or in response to an authorized release of information Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. Computer competence and willingness to become proficient in presentation software. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to develop systems and processes. Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments. Use Laptop, keyboard, mouse, 10-key calculator, projector and other office equipment with proficiency. Comprehensive knowledge of PC applications: Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Must be able to pass a pre-employment PC skills test.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

Ability to maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which may include: sitting, standing, or walking for extended periods of time; operating office equipment; and lifting up to 20 pounds.

Visual Acuity; ability to see and hear within normal parameters, must use hands and fingers to use keyboard and mouse; operate equipment or controls; reach above shoulder heights, below the waist; or lift to file documents or store materials throughout the work day. Proper lifting techniques required.
