Position: Grant Writer

Location: Detroit, MI (hybrid model)

Duration: 6-month contract-to-hire

Pay rate: $30-38/hr

• Pay is weekly
• Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law .

Must Haves:

• 3-5+ years of experience working within grant writing and process creation

Plusses:

• Having a bachelors or masters degree
• Experience working with eCivis (grant acquisition and management tool)
• Experience working with Oracle
• Experience working in federal government, or working with the federal/state/local government
• Experience working for a non-profit and partnering within grants

Job Description:

Insight Global is looking for a Grant Writer for a customer in the Detroit area. The Grant Writer will be responsible for partnering with the Grant Development Officer to write any and all grants necessary for the department. This person will be responsible for supporting the acquisition of funding, building out proposals, and receiving notice of opportunities for awards. This person will be very engrained in the entire process in how the grants are being processed and for partnering with various teams and team members regardless of project.
