Job Title: Full-Time Live-In Housekeeper


Location: Basedin Montclair, NJ; travel to Nantucket, MA; New York City, NY; Beaver Creek, CO (travel between homes)

Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 per year

Schedule: Monday - Saturday, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM (6 days a week, flexible on which days)

Start date: ASAP


About Us: We are a busy, loving couple seeking a reliable, proactive, and dog-loving housekeeper to join our family full-time. With the wife traveling frequently for work, we need someone who can manage our homes and care for our pets in various locations, including Montclair, Nantucket, NYC, and Beaver Creek. Our daughters are in college, so our household primarily includes us, our four dogs, and a kitten. They had two housekeepers one for 10 years and another one for 9 years.


Key Responsibilities:

• Housekeeping:
  
  
  • Daily cleaning and tidying of the home.
  • Deep cleaning and maintenance of all household spaces.
  • Laundry, ironing clothes and bed linens.
  • Household organization and ensuring everything is in order.
• Pet Care:
  
  
  • Feeding and caring for four dogs (including bathroom needs and occasional walks for 1-2 dogs).
  • Occasional care for our kitten.
  • Ensuring the pets' safety and well-being.
• Meal Preparation:
  
  
  • Preparing family meals a few times a week.
  • Occasional grocery shopping and running errands.
• Travel & Property Management:
  
  
  • Travel with the family between homes (Montclair, Nantucket, NYC, Beaver Creek).
  • Ensure homes are prepared and stocked before the family arrives.
  • Manage deliveries, mail, and packages.

Requirements:

• Must love dogs and enjoy pet care.
• Valid driver's license (a car will be provided).
• Willingness to travel between homes and enjoy living in different beautiful locations.
• Flexibility with workdays and tasks.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Must be organized, detail-oriented, and take pride in maintaining a clean, organized home.
