Join our team as a Human Factors Engineer at SSi People . This full-time, on-site position is based in Thousand Oaks, CA, focusing on the development of innovative medical devices. Job Title: Human Factors Engineer Location: Thousand Oaks, CA (Onsite) Job Summary Contribute to the Instruction Design and Human Factors Engineering teams by reviewing and validating instruction materials, including Instructions for Use (IFUs), for medical devices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and quality of labeling and instructions. Key Responsibilities Review and validate instruction materials, including IFUs, carton artwork, and device labeling. Work closely with designers and engineering teams to ensure accuracy and timely delivery. Maintain records of changes and rationale for updates. Support process improvements and documentation of procedures. Collaborate with partners to enhance labeling across functions. Skills Required 4-6 years reviewing medical device documentation, with proficiency in digital illustration and image editing. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator), Microsoft Word, and Excel; knowledge of Access and Visio is a plus. Attention to detail and high accuracy in work. Background in healthcare, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals. Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
