Requirements
The Human Resources Assistant is an essential part of the HR team, offering general administrative and clerical support across key areas such as recruitment, onboarding, employee record management, compliance and data reporting. Core responsibilities include scheduling phone screenings and interviews, assisting employees with onboarding paperwork and medical clearances, maintaining employee records, and supporting compliance efforts, new staff orientation, and various department projects. This role also involves gathering HR-related data and generating both routine and ad hoc reports. Privy to sensitive and confidential information, the Human Resources Assistant will be expected to handle all information with a high level of discretion and professionalism.
This entry-level position reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer, with daily oversight provided by the Associate Director and HR Generalist. It plays a vital role in ensuring the department’s smooth operation and offers a strong foundation for growth within the HR field. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and eager to develop professionally in Human Resources.
