A Step Above Health is a specialized podiatry medical billing company dedicated to providing top-tier billing services. We are looking for an experienced in-office medical biller.
Position: In-Office Medical Biller
The ideal candidate must have:
- At least two years of experience in medical billing (Required)
- Experience in wound care billing (Required)
- Podiatry billing knowledge (Preferred)
- Strong understanding of CPT, ICD-10, and modifiers specific to podiatry and wound care
- Ability to manage claim submissions, denials, and appeals
- Payment posting and accounts receivable experience
- Proficiency with eClinicalWorks (ECW) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced billing environmentThis role requires someone who is organized, efficient, and proactive in handling billing operations to ensure accurate and timely claim processing.
