We’re looking for an ambitious designer who’s as confident in Rhino as they are in taking feedback. Someone who can inspire through their work, bring swagger to problem-solving, and knows that great design is equal parts craft, collaboration, and taste. If you can sketch like it’s second nature and push ideas that make people pause — we’d love to meet you. Overview We’re an Industrial Design and Branding studio based in Chicago, focused on designing products with purpose—driven by strategy, built to innovate, and crafted for experience. Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop thoughtful, human-centered product solutions from concept to production. Translate strategy and user insight into clear, functional, and visually refined design directions. Create compelling sketches, CAD models, and renderings that communicate intent and inspire. Iterate quickly through sketching, modeling, and prototyping to explore form and function. Participate in critiques with a strong point of view and openness to feedback. Contribute to visual storytelling, presentations, and CMF development that elevate project outcomes. Maintain organized files and help foster a culture of collaboration, respect, and continuous growth. Skill Requirements Exceptional digital sketching ability (iPad, Wacom, or equivalent). Proficient in Rhino (required) and KeyShot (minimum) for modeling and visualization. Strong sense of form, proportion, and detail — aesthetics isn’t everything, but it has to look good. Solid grasp of materials, manufacturing processes, and ergonomics. Confident, resourceful problem-solver who balances creativity with practicality. Receptive to feedback, collaborative, and able to motivate through example. Clear communicator with strong organization and time management skills. Maintains professionalism, accountability, and respect for studio workflow and etiquette. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design or a related field from an accredited program. 2–4 years of professional experience (excluding internships) in product design, consumer goods, or related industries. Proven portfolio demonstrating sketching excellence, CAD competency, and refined sense of aesthetics. Experience collaborating in a studio or consultancy environment is preferred. We design products with purpose—driven by strategy, built to innovate, and crafted for experience.
