Elastic Tech Solutions is a fast-growing IT consulting firm supporting biotech and life sciences startups across the Bay Area. We deliver thoughtful, high-touch technology support that scales with our clients. As our first full-time hire , you'll play a hands-on role supporting a leading biotech company in South San Francisco, while helping us build the internal systems that will power our next chapter. About the Role This is a hybrid role that combines: On-site consulting at a biotech company (~50–75%) Internal Elastic Tech systems and operations work (~25–50%) You’ll work directly with the biotech client’s Head of IT to deliver white glove user support, troubleshoot day-to-day tech issues, and contribute to lab-related IT infrastructure. When not on-site, you’ll help Elastic Tech build scalable documentation, asset workflows, and internal tools. As we grow, your Elastic Tech systems work will evolve into new client-facing project work — this is a growth-minded role with room to advance. Responsibilities Client-Facing (Biotech) Deliver in-person IT support for macOS and Windows laptops Handle user onboarding/offboarding, device setups, and SaaS tools (Okta, Zoom, M365, Google Workspace, etc.) Support Zoom Rooms, AV systems, and conference room technology Partner with the Head of IT on infrastructure projects, vendor coordination, and inventory Maintain documentation of systems, accounts, and access Elastic Tech Internal Help document and streamline deployment procedures Assist with hardware lifecycle tracking, warranties, and support flows Contribute to building SOPs and checklists for client readiness Evaluate internal tools and support company-wide tech processes Support future client onboarding and scaling initiatives What We’re Looking For Required: 3+ years of hands-on IT support experience (MSP, consulting, or in-house) Strong macOS and Windows troubleshooting experience Proficiency with SaaS tools: M365, Google Workspace, Zoom, Okta, etc. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently Based in the Bay Area with the ability to work on-site in South San Francisco Bonus Experience: Prior experience in life sciences or lab environments Familiarity with Zoom Room or AV setup Exposure to lab software or regulated environments (GxP, SOC, HIPAA) Light scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or similar) Why Join Elastic Tech Solutions?
