GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERNSHIP ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY: Are you passionate about unleashing your creativity across diverse media platforms, from digital and social to print and product design? Our product and marketing team is on the lookout for a Summer Intern who can bring ideas to life. You'll collaborate seamlessly with our entire product & marketing team, ensuring efficient workflow, timely execution, and alignment with our set project objectives. We are looking for an individual who is ready for hands-on project executions and embraces this opportunity to showcase their graphic design talents.
This role requires a reliable and consistent on-site presence at our Grand Rapids, MI, location.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Creating product designs, imagery, and marketing materials that are engaging and have an impact to overall brand performance.
- Collaborate with other designers, product, & marketing.
- Prepare production-ready files for marketing and product teams.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of product & graphic design trends
- Have a customer-first mentality, including having a sound understanding and being a great steward of the brand's target customer and their needs.
- Be knowledgeable of digital design principles, tools, and industry standards.
- Update, record, organize and maintain shared internal library of design files/assets.
- Build and utilize templates to create efficiency and consistency across our design catalog.
- Collaborate on photography used in all channels and marketing pieces from print to digital.
- Collaborate with product and marketing team on goals and objectives.
- Work closely with product and marketing teams to meet various deadlines.
- Reliable and consistent on-site presence

- Exceptional use of color and willingness to try new things and provide multiple options
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally
- Thrives in a team environment but can carry out projects independently.
KEY MEASURES OF SUCCESS: - Delivery of Quality & Creativity designs on a reliable and consistent basis
- Revision rate is less than 25% of design time
- 98% of projects are submitted by the deadline
REQUIREMENTS: - Actively pursuing a certificate or degree in Graphic Arts or Digital Media.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS knowledge a plus
- 3D rendering capability is a major plus!
