Automated Health Systems, a dynamic and entrepreneurial healthcare company, is looking to hire an IT support professional to join its team in the Pittsburgh, PA area. As an IT Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical set-up and support (via chat, email or phone) for employees in a call center environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide support for Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Azure AD, VPN, and remote desktop tools.
Support device provisioning, imaging, software installation, and asset inventory tracking.
Administer and manage user accounts and group policies in Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
Document issues and resolutions thoroughly in the ticketing system (e.g., Freshservice, ServiceNow).
Collaborate with Tier 3 and Infrastructure teams on more complex system issues or project-based work.
Maintain and update internal knowledge base articles and SOPs.
Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes, including hardware setup and permissions.
Qualifications for the position include:
Minimum two to three years' experience in a Help Desk support role required.
Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Windows client and server products and network infrastructure required.
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Windows for end user application support required; ability to run reports to diagnose system errors and issues.
Must have strong work ethic and problem-solving skills, good verbal and written communication skills, and excellent customer service with ability to multitask and manage Help Desk tickets in a timely manner.
Associate degree in Computer Science or related field preferred; A+ certification preferred.
